New Releases: 9/7/11

The Words - This movie about Bradley Cooper stealing a novel (or life story, I'm unclear) from Jeremy Irons has a lot of potential, both to be fun and to suck.  It looks like Cooper steals it and then makes it big, but that pisses Irons off.  Personally, I really wouldn't want to do that, he's pretty mean.  On the fence.
The Cold Light of Day - I have no idea what this movie is, but IMDB tells me that it stars the future Superman, the previous John McClane, and an alien hunter, so how bad could it be?  There's some sort of kidnap plot and Wall Street, so who knows.   I'll wait for the DVD.
Bachelorette - In last year's Bridesmaids, Kristen Wiig's roommate, Rebel Wilson (what a name!) was really awkward and funny.  Now she's in another movie that steps a few steps further than Bridesmaids in the raunch category with Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan.  Gotta wait for the reviews, but looks good.

  1. I thought the trailer for Bachelorette was kinda lame, but I'm still interested in the cast, so I rented it off iTunes today when the price dropped since the movie's now in theaters. I'll let you know.

  2. Bachlorette looks like the only one on that list that I would check out. I'm glad to see Lizzy Caplan and Kirstin Dunst in this
