The Lunchtime Poll #8

I'm late once again with the Lunchtime Poll. Sorry, I was at the zoo during actual lunch, but here it is anyway.

So it seems the majority of you want your actors to keep working as long as they accept age appropriate roles. Sorry Tom Cruise.

Thanks for voting!

This week Heather and Veronica want to know:

Are there actors that tempt you into seeing any film, even if it looks underwhelming?

Since we watch a lot of films for the podcast's stars of the week, both good and bad, we wondered what normal people do. And if there is particular actor or actress that you follow blindly, please let us know who and why in the comments.

  1. I'm pretty sure I'll see anything if it has Simon Pegg in it... because he's awesome like that.

I'll also see, at this point, anything directed by Edgar Wright.

Of course, neither of those two things are related...

    1. No surprises there. I dig Pegg and think he does great under Wright's direction, but in everything else I prefer his supporting characters than his leading men.

  2. At this moment right now. I would say Elizabeth Olsen and Tilda Swinton. Each time I see them in a film I forget that other people are on screen with them. Even if I don't like the movies they appear in. I generally like their performances.

    1. Definitely check out our Tilda Swinton episode of the podcast coming this Sunday! Hopefully we won't disappoint.
