Lazy Day Recycling: Let Me In Review

I didn't use to be a fan of reposting old material, but I have seen the light and shall embrace the practice more willingly from now on. The purpose is two-fold. Firstly, I'm on staycation, while Mia is spending the week with her grandparents and it's $5 Tuesday at my mutliplex, which is probably where I'm camped out as you read this. Secondly, there are a number of posts from my old site that I admit to be pretty damn proud of and don't want them to be forgotten. Besides, if you haven't read it before, it's still to you.

So here is my "review" of the Let Me In, the remake of Let the Right One In, illustrating a telephone conversation between the central characters of both films, Owen and Oskar, respectively.

  1. I love this. The ending made me laugh out loud.

I did not hate Let Me In, and I show it to people who have already seen "Let The Right One In". It's a good remake, but one that didn't need to be done.

    1. Thanks, Vern! Glad you liked it. Like I say in the captions above, Let Me In does a couple things better, but I still prefer the original version. Apparently not many thought it needed remade, since the US remake made almost nothing at the box office, if I remember correctly.
