That was good story telling. It was all the excess subplots that bothered me. And I wish Barb and Mrs. Mac had lived longer, since they were the best.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12386248680892197260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2741847941083055388.post-51272306104300991842012-12-07T09:32:37.536-06:002012-12-07T09:32:37.536-06:00Oddly enough, I enjoyed this movie. I hate, hate, ...Oddly enough, I enjoyed this movie. I hate, hate, HATE slow moving movies, ESPECIALLY horror movies, but something about this I found charming. I think it's because it was the grandfather of modern slashers (yeah, yeah "Halloween" yeah) but it was unique and I think that deserves some credit. Add to that the awesome characters of Margot Kidder AND Mrs. Mac plus the hotness of Olivia Hussy and yes I like this film just fine.

If you want to spoil it and just NEED things pointlessly explained to you, there's the remake, that not only dives in head first into the backstory of the killer, but fucking ruins EVERYTHING. Ugh, I hate that movie.
-JasonJason Sotohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03892643201429905459noreply@blogger.com
